Music Video Booking: Whitney Houston and Queen Latifah's "Fast Car".

Hey Guys,
so this past weekend was horrible as well as great! I booked two music videos in one weekend, but the negative part was I had no rest and time to hang out on my days off. In the end it worked out because a bunch of my actors and models were booked for the Queen Latifah Music Video for her new single "Fast Car" and for Whitney Houstons new music video. One of my girls was actually so good that they wanted her to even play Whitney's Double for the second day of shooting. In the end I am happy I sacrificed my weekend because I know that in some way I am apart of music industry history, and theirs always more weekends ahead to relax and have fun!

Maxwell's "Bad Habits" ft my client Mari White!!!

I'm soooooo excited that this video came out!!! I booked my client Mari White for the role of Maxwell's wife in this music video "Bad Habits"!! First it's the Jay-Z "DOA" video, and now it's Maxwell's "Bad Habits"!! I made History!!! LoL. It was a long and tiresome process booking this job. They had already chosen some of my other clients and told me they had a good shot at booking the job. It was between my client Dawn Richard (Danity Kane and Dirty Money) and Bobbi Jo Kitchen (50 Cent's "Okay Your Right" and "I Get Money"). I was excited because I wanted so bad to see Dawn in a cameo and Bobbi Jo is my School Chum and friend, so either or I win! But when they told me scratch both out and Kerry Washington got it I was upset! Not only because it was a weekend, but because I was sick, But the fact that they booked another one of my girl made up for it! So in the end I still won and made history!!! Check out the video as it is my video of the month!!! LOL.

Jay-Z "DOA" Death of AutoTune!!!

Hey so I'm excited to have something to do with Hip Hop History. I booked one of my clients (Morgan Nicols) in the New Jay-Z Music Video "DOA" (Death of Autotune). He's one of the guys in the restaurant! But just to say I even had anything to do with it makes me excited!!! Check Out the video!!!

Leighton Meester + Cobra Starship + My Client (Brittnie Burke)

So I have been watching the popular websites and right now the talk is about the group "Cobra Starship". Well being that I am the one at the agency that loves to book music videos I was lucky enough to get one of my girls booked on the video for "Cobra Starship" called "Good girls gone Bad". My client Britnie Burke was booked to play Leighton Meester's (Gossip Girl) body double. I was really excited cause the casting director said she would be doing alot of tricks and such. Plus when I told my coworker she started going crazy as Leighton Meester is her favorite character on Gossip Girl. So right now I just felt like reposting some press from MTV.com about the video. Check it out!

Cobra Starship, Leighton Meester Collaborating On New SongBand hands off 'I Make Good Girls Go Bad' to 'Gossip Girl' star.

Earlier this week, we reported that Cobra Starship are working with "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi on their new album. Well, now it turns out that they're working with another prime-time star: Leighton Meester from "Gossip Girl."

On Thursday, Cobra frontman Gabe Saporta, DioGuardi and Meester — who debuted a song called "Birthday" last week — spent time in a Los Angeles studio working on a remix of a song called "I Make Good Girls Go Bad," which Saporta and DioGuardi had originally written for CS's new album.

It's not as much of a stretch as you'd imagine. Saporta is an avowed "Gossip Girl" nut (he even mentioned the show back in December, when we asked him to name his favorites of 2008), and when he heard Meester was working on an album, he thought "Girls" would be perfect for her. So, thanks to the power of positive dreaming — and some phone calls — he found himself winging to L.A. to work with her. We e-mailed him for comment on the collaboration, and this is what he had to say:

"CAN YOU BELIEVE I GET TO DO A SONG WITH BLAIR WALDORF?! It's no secret that I am a HUGE Gossip Girl fan. (On tour, our fans bring me copies of the episodes I am missing so I can stay caught up)," Saporta wrote. "A couple months ago, I heard a rumor that Leighton was working on a record, and I went to sleep that night dreaming of what it would be like to do a song with her. Next morning (afternoon, actually) I wake up to find out my dreams are coming true! Some people made phone calls to some other people, then, shazam! I'm on a plane to LA to record with my boo. I knew I had the perfect song for her too: 'I Make Good Girls Go Bad.' "

It's not known if the song will end up on Meester's album (or if there will even be a Meester album, for that matter), or Cobra's follow-up to 2007's Viva la Cobra (the making of which fans can follow through the band's CobraCam Web site). Or even both. Either way, Saporta's not sweating it. He's already living out a dream.

"Leighton is already quite adept at portraying a princess with a nasty side — now she's just gotta sing about it," he wrote. "If all the world's a stage, we should all be so lucky to play 'Gossip Girl' characters."

Dawn Richard in the film "Perfect Combination".

Soooooo.....I'm sorry I haven't updated you guys for a while, but I have been very busy. But this time I definitely have to post this as it's a booking that I am very proud of. I recently booked Dawn Richard from the 2x Platinum selling girl group Danity Kane. Dawn is a client I brought into MMG and I am proud I was able to get her cameo in a film. The name of the film is called "Project Combination", and it stars Angell Cowell (Baby Boy and Soul Plane), Christian Keyes (Tyler Perry Films), Debra Wilson (Mad Tv), and some other great people. I am proud because Dawn's schedule is totally crazy especially with the breaking up of Danity Kane and the making of her new group "Dirty Money" which consists of Diddy, herself, and Kaleena (a top writer). The movie was shot in LA, and I cannot wait to see knowing that I had some part in making history in her career.
